The centre provides a varied programme of educational, leisure and social activities for both adults and young people living in Prestonfield, South Edinburgh, but people outside the area are also welcome.
The centre comprises of a small sports hall, several
general purpose rooms, an office and a kitchen. From Cameron House Avenue, a path leads up to the building which is surrounded by trees. Parking in the grounds is restricted to disabled users only.
Opened in 1968, the centre is owned by The City of Edinburgh Council and run by a locally elected Management Committee.
